Does extra virgin olive oil expire?

If it is not sealed well it can. Once opened it definitely can. I have eaten 2001 vintage EVOO within the past year and it tasted fine. Although after about the 2 year mark it starts to go down hill on average.Does extra virgin olive oil expire?
Italian law states that olive oil expires two years after date of harvest. This is the recommended period of time supported by all producers.

If it's older than two years I would suggest buying a new bottle. It may not hurt you to use but you will notice a much better taste in fresh oil.Does extra virgin olive oil expire?
Yes Kris it does. Should have a date on it. Also no direct sunlight or high heat, in the fridge is ours.

Are you aware it helps your eye brows grow? LOL True.
They say approximately 18 months is the shelf life. Also if the olive oil tastes buttery, then it has gone rancid..........
Susu's in control here, it should do when your 65 are you, hehe.....?
Depends on handling.
