Allah's Messenger said, ';Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.';





Hadhrat Abu Hurayra narrates that Rasulullah (saaws) stated, ';Eat the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for seventy diseases in it, one of them is Leprosy.'; (Abu Naim)

I think that olive oil is much better in general, especially for eating, but coconut oil has good uses too. Coconut oil is very good for your skin and hair. I find it easier to apply since it's solid when you take it from the jar, and it will melt in your hands.
Olive oil will nourish, condition, and improve the strength and elasticity of your hair. Olive oil is an excellent moisturizer for dry hair....





and Rasul (SAW) used it, so it has to be good.

Olive Oil has no cholestral,healthy, and olive is also mentioned in the Quran.
