no dont it will make your hair greasy because it is so thick!I've heard of using olive oil on hair but what about vegetable oil?
Majority of oils are good for hair, but not all of them can be used. Not all vegetable oils can be absorbed and then washed off like Olive Oil. For example, corn oil has the same propensity as olive oil, but it is hard to wash it off. On the other hand, Johnson's Baby oil is a great oil for hair because it can be easily washed like Olive oil.

I wouldn't opt for vegetable oil because not every oil is the same. You can check out some recipes here and notice that you can add other stuff in the natural recipes but they didnt mention changing the olive oil to vegetable oil (it could be real greasy): http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>
Yup, you can use vegetable oil on your hair the same way as using olive oil. Both are great, home remedy cosmetic fixes. They will not reconstruct your hair in any way but will provide more shine for a bit of time.
you could also use vegetable oil but it would probably make it greasy. what i heard was you mix some vegetable oil with water in the shower then rinse it into your hair and just let it dry. it'll help it grow.
some people also do something with egg whites or egg yolks. probably yolk but im not sure.
