Olive oil, yes. But not canola oil.
You will need to mix in some sunscreen lotion, but depending on what kind of olive oil, it can have a very pronounced oder so be sure to wash it off afterward.
Canola oil is not a natural oil in the sense that there is not such a thing as a ';canola'; in nature. The name stands for Canadian Oil and the product is actually made from rapeseed oil which is also the main ingredients in pesticide since it is poisonous to just about every living thing. I would recommend you not use it for cooking or tanning. Can you use canola/olive oil for tanning?
sure just be careful a friend of mine used lard that was warmed to liquid by that nite you couldn't touch a part of her body that didn't hurt or was burnt and she was out the next day doing the same thing by then she was sick and by noon she went to the hospital with second degree burns over 90% of her bodyCan you use canola/olive oil for tanning?
Planning on baking ourselves are we?LOL%26gt;sorry for the sarcasm. My sister used cooking oil and iodine once and about fried to a general crisp! Please use a lotion that has a protectant in it.Your skin is the largest organ of your body.try and treat it with kindness.
Yes I did it for years. Much cheaper than tanning oil but........... does not contain any sunscreen, so be VERY careful. Conditions your skin and gives you a beautiful tan if you do it slowly without burning.
You shouldn't. You should use a very good sunblock. They don't prevent you from tanning, they just temporarily block the dangerous UV rays that can burn your skin and cause skin cancer.
Read up on SPF (sun protection factor).
Sure, if you want to get burned quickly. There are safer options to get tan nowadays, please don't burn your skin.
Sure! Also some people mix betadine and baby oil for tanning.
Yes you can
you could.
some people do it

Completely untrue, canola oil or as otherwise known as rapeseed oil comes from the canola plant. It contains omega 3,6 and 9 and has an acidic level of that which matches health skin. It's actually great for the skin.
