If i use olive oil in my hair how much faster will it grow?

I鈥檝e heard that the average person鈥檚 hair grows five inches a year.





When I use it I do as follows:





- use extra virgin olive oil


- heat it in a coffee mug in the microwave so that it's warm ....not hot ( if it's hot it will burn your scalp.....if you heat it too much, let it sit %26amp; cool until it's cooled down enough that you can stick you finger in it for 5 seconds)


- use it on dry hair ( so the oil can seep in better)


take a comb %26amp; dip in in the mug %26amp; comb it through your hair in sections...making sure to get the ends good


- if there's any left over after your hair is fully saturated, I just pour the rest over my head (carefully)


-put a shower cap over your head %26amp; jump in the shower %26amp; wash up ( the heat/steam of the shower will help it get in the hair better....plus, it helps with saving time :) )


- after 5 minutes in the shower, take the cap off %26amp; just pour shampoo on your head BEFORE putting any water on it. ( you may need to shampoo it a couple of times in order to get the stuff out )


- you don't need to use a conditioner afterwards ( b/c the oil would have made your hair soft already)








Oh, when you are in the shower, just be careful that you don't slip on the oil that comes off your hair .....I've done that a couple of times *lol* (%26amp;, make sure you just wash it all down the drai so whomever is next in the shower doesn't slip either)

the agent in olive ol that makes your skin, nails, and hair better is called omega 3 so you would want to eat it, not put it directly on your hair.





so eat about a table spoon every day, and eat fish and nuts such as salmon.





also, i believe that there are pills you can take to make your hair grow faster.
It wont grow any faster at all...it will just be greasier. Your hair grows from the inside out and no matter what you put on the outside the inside stays the same. Unless you eat the olive oil...that might work but I dont know if any studies have been done on it.
it might or might not grow faster, but it will probablyy make your hair greasy! I would try Pantene Beautiful Lenghts Shampoo and Conditionar, it helped my hair grow like half and inch in two weeks.
